Having a workspace in your living room isn’t necessarily a problem, said R. Lela Bourne,Handy Pocket Mirror with hinged lid that doubles as a stand. a real estate agent with Bond New York. “But it depends on presentation.”

If the workspace is organized and tidy, and blends well into the rest of the living room, she said,This vertical Cable Organizer can be mounted to either. it’s usually fine. But cut down on clutter. “You want to get rid of any extraneous papers or books that don’t need to be on display,” she said.

Similarly, she recommended making cords from computers and other electronic devices as unobtrusive as possible, to make the space pleasing to the eye.

If the desk and work chair look out of place, or appear to take up too much of the living room, it can be a challenge, Ms. Bourne said, “because buyers don’t always have imagination.”

In that case, she suggests presenting alternative floor plans or photos of similar spaces to prospective buyers, so they can see other ways to arrange things.

Another option, said Rodman Primack, owner of the New York interior design firm RP Miller, would be to replace your office furniture with multifunctional pieces. For instance, he said, “I frequently use tables instead of desks,” in home workspaces. The advantage is that they can double as dining or game tables when not used for work. “Once you’ve committed yourself to a desk with a back and drawers,” he said, “you’ve limited what that piece of furniture can do.”

Mr. Primack recently followed his own advice when he moved his New York office into his Greenwich Village apartment. Because he has a staff, he installed an oversize table that provides a large enough work surface for four people.Shop wholesale Antistatic PET protective film Products from cheap Pet Protective. “I don’t have very many people over for dinner,” he said. “But I definitely could, around that table. Or I could have a bar or buffet there.”

The key, he said, is to have an efficient storage system for all the files and other materials that can otherwise make a workspace look cluttered.Buy Promotional Anti-scratching PET protective film Products at Phones. “You can file stuff away in binders,” he said. “If you have old binders that look like they’re from high school, it’s not going to look great.”

For larger items that need to be stashed at the end of the day, he said, try cloth-covered boxes or wire baskets. All those binders, boxes and baskets can then be stored neatly on bookshelves.

Far from being an eyesore, a home workspace “can look incredibly attractive,” Mr. Primack said. “If you spend the time to think it through.”

Inspired by a textbook ride to win the Group One Prince Of Wales's Sakes aboard Al Kazeem, Doyle coaxed a recalcitrant Belgian Bill to victory in the Royal Hunt Cup before setting Rizeena alight in the Queen Mary Stakes.

Not since Frankie Dettori landed his magnificent seven in 1996 has the royal racecourse bowed to the talents of a youthful sorcerer in the saddle.

"It is what you aspire to when you are growing up, so it makes me very happy to be standing here after a day like today. I still haven't taken it all in and I suspect it will be some time before I do. It is what you dream about."

Doyle served up his piece de resistance in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes after Paul Hanagan threatened to steal the day's feature race.Buy Silicone IPAD Case at wholesale prices from leading Chinese wholesalers,

When Hanagan kicked for home on reaching the straight aboard Mukhadram, Doyle was the first to react - and the only one to overhaul Hanagan.

It took just about every yard of the Ascot straight for Doyle to reel in Hanagan, yet the jockey dismounted from Al Kazeem to proclaim: "I always felt I was going to win."

Trainer Roger Charlton was not so sure. "I thought for much of it that we weren't going to get there but James came back and told me he never had any doubts. I'm so pleased for him. He's a young guy who hasn't yet ridden too many good horses, yet he handled the occasion perfectly."

Al Kazeem gave Doyle his first European Group 1 winner when he mastered last year's double Derby winner Camelot in Ireland last month. The latter's connections were optimistic their horse might turn the tables but Al Kazeem extended his superiority as Camelot laboured home in fourth place.
