Tolley said she decided she liked the look and feel of Wyndhurst's shops enough to give it a try. Plus, she said, since her store is a sort of specialty shop, she figured future brides would seek her out no matter the location.
With the proliferation of shows like TLC's "Say Yes to the Dress," and other wedding-themed entertainment, Tolley said she does often hear the refrain, "Are you saying yes to the dress?"
But, she added, in spite of the high-stakes nature of wedding dress shopping, she's had great experiences with all her customers.
