  • While acknowledging the development is serious

California Community Colleges Chancellor Brice Harris said the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges notified City College officials of its verdict in a letter that did not give an explanation for the decision.Find great deals on eBay for stainless steel bracelet Bracelet in Fashion Jewelry Bracelets. The public college, which enrolls 85,000 full- and part-time students on nine campuses and two centers, was placed last year on the commission's "show-cause" list, the agency's most severe disciplinary sanction. The commission had faulted the school for deficiencies in 14 areas, including financial management, library services, student achievement monitoring and planning, and ordered officials to demonstrate improvement by mid-March.
Accreditation is seal of approval education institutions receive so consumers and government officials know they are meeting certain performance standards. Not being accredited would make City College ineligible for federal and state funding and its students ineligible for public financial aid.
Although the revocation of City College's accreditation would not take effect until July 31, 2014, and the school can still seek a review and then an appeal of the action, the commission's determination came as a shock to state and local officials who had hoped the steps college leaders had taken to address the concerns would secure a reprieve.
"I am furious, and I think this decision is absolutely outrageous," Rafael Mandelman, a member of the college's elected Board of Trustees, said. "Every person and every part of this school have done backflips to address issues the ACCJC raised. At the end of all of this, to reach this result, is mind-boggling."
While acknowledging the development is serious, Harris, California's community colleges chief, sought to reassure students who are already enrolled or plan to attend the college in the fall are not at risk of losing credits or having nowhere to continue their educations.
"The college is still open,The smart card has a memory chip embedded in it that, accredited and accepting students for fall term," he said. "The process of appeal is a long one ...The Warehouse offers a tremendous selection of stainless steel bangle at great prices. The students of San Francisco City College, while we are going through this process, they have a place they can go to college."
Harris said that in addition to encouraging an appeal, he would ask the Board of Governors that oversees California's 112 community colleges to appoint a special trustee with authority to make decisions that now fall to City College's elected trustees. The trustee would have independent authority over the school's budget and programs,Find great deals on eBay for stainless steel bracelet Bracelet in Fashion Jewelry Bracelets. as well as the power to negotiate with its unionized employees.
"The best course of action to rescue City College from certain closure is to appoint a trustee with extra powers," he said. "The college does not have the luxury of time and a special trustee offers the only hope."
While other community colleges have struggled in recent years to cope with severe reductions in state funding, the commission said in a report on City College last year that officials had failed to make the course and salary reductions necessary to keep the school on firm footing.
California Federation of Teachers President Joshua Pechthalt, whose union represents community college faculty and staff, characterized the commission's decision as petty and mean-spirited. He said his organization planned to file a grievance against the accrediting commission with the U.S. Department of Education, which authorizes regional accrediting bodies. Court action is another possibility, he said.
"This decision by the accrediting commission is an assault on this stellar academic institution," Pechthalt said.Shop Stately Steel Circle Drop Chandelier stainless steel necklace, "The commission acts as judge, jury and executioner on community colleges in California and the western states with little regard or concern for their behavior."

  • This also has the advantage of allowing every apartment

The multi-million pound City Harbour development includes 7 apartments blocks situated just two minutes' walk from the Docklands Light Railway with easy access to Canary Wharf,The smart card has a memory chip embedded in it that, the City and Lewisham. The original analogue monochrome video entry system installed in the block in 1997 has suffered several breakdowns while advances in technology has made the image quality less than acceptable for what is considered as high quality by modern standards.
Following several breakdowns of the old entry system, Parc Properties, the management agency for the block, began to investigate alternative solutions. Following a rigorous tenderingFind great deals on eBay for stainless steel bracelet Bracelet in Fashion Jewelry Bracelets. process, NIMATA, a specialist in access technologies, was selected to deliver a video entry phone solution based on MOBOTIX technology. The project also included the installation of a high speed broadband to provide additional value to tenants at City Harbour.
The MOBOTIX T24 video entry phone units at each door are connected via an internal IP network to deliver bi-directional audio and high resolution colour video to Grandstream IP based video phones within each apartment. From the video phone, tenants can see and communicate with any visitors and open the front door remotely.
The seven MOBOTIX T24 units used in the project include a high resolution digital camera, keypad and systems to interface with the door lock release mechanism. With 3.1 megapixels and internal memory, the hemispheric door camera records the entire entrance area from wall to wall and from floor to ceiling with no blind spots.
Each T24 also has a built in SIP server to allow the camera to communicate with the video phone in each apartment. However, this basic SIP server only has a limited number of connections, so NIMATA developed its own SIP server appliance to interface with the M24 to manage up to a 1000 connections from a single video entry unit. This also has the advantage of allowing every apartment to contact any neighbour as well as the porter directly from the video phone without incurring any calling charges.
MOBOTIX is the pioneer of a decentralised approach to CCTV which simplifies installation and operational considerations while improving overall security and reliability. In this decentralisation architecture, all image processing,Shop Stately Steel Circle Drop Chandelier stainless steel necklace, recording logic and decisions are made in the camera itself. This is in complete contrast to most other CCTV systems, where the camera typically has no real intelligence and relies on decision making and image processing taking place at ’the core‘ of the network via centralised software or DVR. As the camera can store video within the device and only needs to send video to a central repository at the discretion of the operator, building owners no longer require an expensive and complex monitoring station or dedicated wiring across the site.
Tenants can now communicate with and view visitors in high resolution colour before releasing the main door. Via the video phone, tenants can also pan, tilt and zoom the camera to get a better view of the surrounding area. The porter for the development can also view entry phone images from his cabin and communicate with visitors as well as scanning the area for any issues. Although the system offers a great deal of flexibility in viewing options, each camera and viewpoint is only accessible to authorised personal from registered Video Phones, PC terminals and optional mobile devices.
“The system has performed well since installation and we now have the option to upgrade many of its elements as our requirements evolve – overall, it has been a very successful project,The Warehouse offers a tremendous selection of stainless steel bangle at great prices.” Ingles adds. Based on the success at City Harbour, Parc Properties are now considering working with NIMATA to upgrade several other properties it has under management across London and the South East of England.

  • Some viewers request particular patterns

It's leaner and trendier than it was in the 1960s and '70s, when the craft was known for its bulky, acrylic yarns.Enjoy the greatest selection ever of stainless steel pendant. Crochet's enduring popularity is due partly to today's wide array of high-quality, luxurious yarns -- many at affordable prices.
Crochet can be found on high-fashion runways and in upscale home decor. Textile artists such as Kaffe Fassett use it.
But it also can just be fun: Mischievous "yarn bombers" decorate urban landscapes -- street signs, trees, even bicycles and cars -- in crochet.
It's never been easier to learn how to wield a crochet hook, thanks to an assortment of books, magazines and online tutorials, the latter of which often are free.
"To me it's like painting with stitches," says Teresa Richardson, 50,Shop the best selection of men's stainless steel ring. of Savannah, Ga., who shares free patterns and video tutorials at her blog, Crochet Geek, begun in 2006. "It's being able to put out an interpretation of something artistic and creative."
Her YouTube video tutorials average 75,000 daily views, according to YouTube Analytics. Some viewers request particular patterns, which challenges Richardson and keeps her working 12-hour days; she recently completed requests to crochet a manatee, an octopus and a sheep.
Carol Alexander, of Berne, Ind., has been crocheting since the early 1980s, when she made a toy for her then-unborn son. A crochet-pattern designer for more than 20 years, she's the executive crochet editor for Crochet! and Crochet World magazines.
Respectful of the craft's past, Alexander champions what crochet has become: classier, creative and commonplace.
"Crochet has always been the 'redheaded stepsister' (to knitting) but not anymore," says Alexander. "It's really out there and setting the standards."
Edie Eckman, co-author of the new "Crochet One-Skein Wonders" (Storey Publishing), agrees that crochet has become more fashionable. "It's OK to be seen crocheting publicly now," muses Eckman, of Waynesboro, Va.
New yarns have helped. Appealing blends that include bamboo, silk or alpaca, for example, allow for thinner, softer yarn. As a result, crocheted pieces can drape more attractively, which is why clothing designers are using more crochet in their work, says Alexander.
The Craft & Hobby Association estimates that 14.7 million Americans crochet, 89 percent of them women.
The traditional and ubiquitous granny square remains popular, but has been re-envisioned.
"People are using it in the same old ways but in new colors and in smaller yarns," says Eckman.
Crocheters and knitters have long argued about which medium is superior. Eckman, who does both, sees each craft's charms. Crochet, she says, is faster, more versatile and more forgiving.
Knitting uses two or more needles to create two basic stitches -- the knit and the purl -- which are combined to create hundreds of stitch patterns. Crochet, with its one hook and basic stitches,Discover the durable and attractive tungsten bracelet. is able to conjure up thousands of stitch patterns. And because there's only one "live" stitch in crochet, crocheters can change a pattern on the fly more easily than knitters can, and without fear of dropping a stitch.
"Crochet allows you to be relaxed about things," says Eckman.Find great deals on Mens Surgical stainless steel earring, "Knitting requires more structure and forethought."
To learn crochet, Alexander recommends starting with an online tutorial so you can watch another person's hands.
Annie's, the crafts retailer, which publishes Crochet! and Crochet World magazines, posts a free stitch guide online.
Richardson's basic stitch tutorials include instructions for left-handed crocheters. She gently recommends that new crocheters practice the basic stitches -- a chain, single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet -- before moving on to more advanced projects.

  • It is giving a group of refugee and migrant

The women gathered around the table are not just making necklaces and bracelets in this jewellery class.
Bead by bead, they are rebuilding fractured lives.
The IWHS jewellery enterprise is an innovative program run by the Fairfield-based centre in conjunction with TAFE.
It is giving a group of refugee and migrant women the technical, creative and practical support to start their own jewellery businesses.
IWHS manager Eman Sharobeem said: "Empowering women to gain financial means is one of my passions."
Dr Sharobeem got the idea from her micro-finance work with the United Nations.
"If you could see the changes in lives of these women," she said.Cheap custom printed logo USB flash drives wholesale at wholesale bulk prices. "They are able to go their children and say 'I am working. I have my own income' and to go to Centrelink and say, 'I am making money'."
Speaking in Arabic through a translator, group member Suham Talal said: "The minute we sell a product I feel so happy and it gives me a sense of satisfaction and pleasure. It is a cycle of happiness. When we sell, we have income,we know the value of kapton tape. so we can buy more and produce more and sell more."
Communities Minister Victor Dominello launched the jewellery enterprise during Refugee Week, and it has made an initial profit of $230.
"It's only a beginning," said Ms Talal, who arrived in Australia in 2005 as a refugee, exhausted after fleeing Iraq with her children following the killing of her jeweller husband.
She said many of the women in the group had experienced similarly traumatic circumstances.
Now that Ms Talal and Berri Al-Gainani, also a refugee from Iraq, have completed the program, they will be leading groups of women jewellers in Fairfield and Liverpool and teaching more women the skills they have learnt.
"Being here together has engaged [the women] mentally so that they now want to learn more, and are asking for more skills," said Ms Talal.
Jewellery is only the beginning.
Ms Talal was a florist before she left Iraq and plans to teach her group the art of flower arrangement and more.
Ms Al-Gainani says the enterprise will mean freedom.
"We would like to move from the learning to the production stage and be able to have a stable income," she said. "When I have money I am more stable. I can give and help others and build my personality."
Dr Sharobeem said the female refugees and asylum seekers she worked with didn't want to stay at home, your creative source for silicone bracelet business cards with your specialized. nor did they want to depend on welfare.
She researched what tools the project could provide to meet the women's current skill set.
As many of the IWHS's clients are illiterate,Transportation custom keychain Applications Ceremony. even in their native language, Dr Sharobeem selected something that her Middle Eastern, South American and African clients had in common.
"Jewellery is easy to make, easy to sell and easy to make a profit on at the end of the day," she said.
The program has taught the group skills from design to managing a business and has also put them in touch with many wholesalers and markets.

IWHS, which is funded by NSW Health, is providing the space,High quality plastic card printing for business cards, support and public liability insurance, but each woman is responsible for buying and selling her own jewellery.
For Suham Talal the project holds special significance.
Jewellery is the traditional profession of her Mandaean community and was also that of her late husband.
"It didn't connect me with my late husband's profession only, but it actually connected me to my roots," she said.

  • Spot trading of cloud capacity against

Starting in the first quarter of next year, buyers and sellers of at least one terabyte in cloud-computing dataspace – the size of your average external home hard drive – will be able to match supply and demand via a new platform run by the exchange, with real-time prices to boot.
The cloud, which essentially stores data away from a physical computer, instead making it available on demand from a remote server, comes as more companies consider storing their data that way.
IT advisory firm International Data Corp. forecasts annual growth rates of up to 40% in Europe’s cloud infrastructure business market over the next seven years as it tries to catch up with developments in the U.S. and Asia.
Deutsche B?rse’s new Cloud Exchange AG joint venture with Zimory, a Berlin-based software developer that does not provide cloud capacity,we know the value of kapton tape. hopes to be a “catalyst” for that growth, said management board members Maximilian Ahrens and Michael Osterloh. Deutsche B?rse, which traditionally has marketplaces for stocks,Transportation custom keychain Applications Ceremony. bonds and derivatives, already gained some experience of a new market when it launched the EEX European Energy Exchange
At the moment,You'll find a number of top quality RFID tag suppliers. You'll find a number of top quality ear cap suppliers. pricing of cloud services remains opaque because only buyers and sellers are involved in the transaction.
Several commercial cloud marketplaces exist, such as Spot Instances and Reserved Instance Marketplace by Amazon Web Services and SpotCloud by Virtustream, but these are affiliated with the vendor.
Clients and potential clients of cloud computing services also complain about the lengthy procedures required to close an individual cloud contract which can take more than a year until capacity can easily be sold on.
Deutsche Borse hopes to speed up the process substantially by offering standardized products and procedures for admission, trading, settlement and surveillance via the new technical platform, for which it will get a fee.
Buyers of cloud capacity can choose the location and jurisdiction of the servers and how long they want to rent the cloud capacity. They can also migrate between vendors, choose the safety level they want for their data, disaster recovery measures, and data speed.
A group of up to 20 “early adapters” –which includes IT companies,High quality plastic card printing for business cards, German and international companies such as in the aviation and automobile sectors– is currently working on the details to ensure the marketplace can go live with enough liquidity early next year.
Spot trading of cloud capacity against payment in cash is expected to start in the first quarter. The launch of derivatives trading – with a time gap between trading and delivery – is envisaged for 2015.
The exchange didn’t disclose start-up costs for the new joint venture, which aims to be profitable within the next three years.
The move has certainly piqued interest elsewhere, too. On a trip to Frankfurt Monday, the chief executive of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Ivana Gazic, said the cloud-computing business “is definitely the future” and would be a perfect secondary use for its own system, though the Croatian exchange is not looking at it at the moment.

  • What would happen if restaurants had explicit dress codes?

It should, they used to say, take 10 minutes to realise a man is well-dressed. Maybe. That’s a grandiose gloss on traditional British understatement. But it takes no time at all to notice if he is not.
To get into character for this piece, I put on my favourite pink seersucker suit and looked at some old photographs of Rod Stewart who, this week, has become our arbiter elegantiarum in that journal of fastidious good taste, the Radio Times.
There’s no end of choice in Rod’s historic wardrobe, although my own favourite is a Rolling Stone cover with our man in a faux-fur ocelot two-piece with radically tight trousers and drape jacket, two rows of black glass beads and the haircut that looks like a detonated chinchilla. The only thing certain about taste is that it changes.
From a Papuan’s boastful penis gourd to Mark Zuckerburg’s schlubby T-shirt, via a flatteringly waisted Huntsman suit from Savile Row or knowing when precisely and where precisely not to wear socks,High quality plastic card printing for business cards, male dress has always been a matter of status. Paraphrasing Brillat-Savarin on gastronomy: tell me what you wear and I’ll tell you what you’re pretending to be.
But in our atomised, pixelated, borderless culture, the old status norms are soon inverted. Now, there is a sort of party where the bouncers in chic black are better dressed than the guests in ripped jeans, low-rise Converse and plaid workshirts. It is chauffeurs who wear the neatly pressed suits while the internet billionaires in the back are dressed like refugees. Even my banker dresses as if auditioning for a boy band.
So is it absurdly archaic to ask, as Rod – ocelot – Stewart suggests we now do, for a “dress code” in restaurants? “Dress code” is a precarious concept. At one level, there is certainly such a thing. It often appears as a sub-adult instruction on annoying invitations where someone decides that “smart casual” is the thing.
Many questions are raised. Is smart-casual more formal than semi-formal? If my Aloha shirt and cargo pants and flip-flops have been expensively designed by Sir Paul Smith, does that make my version of casual smarter than your mail order easy-fit slacks and comfortable shoes? Personally, I find “dress code” on invitations patronising and impertinent. You might as well put “Behaviour code: no wife-strangling or spitting”.
Outside churches and mosques, dress codes are helpfully explained with graphic symbols. Both at St Peter’s in Rome and the Sheikh Zayed mosque in Abu Dhabi, you find a multi-faith proscription against men in shorts and wifebeaters, as if knees and armpits alone were deadly signifiers of blasphemous godlessness.
What would happen if restaurants had explicit dress codes? It would simply become an efficient mechanism for excluding undesirables.we know the value of kapton tape. In Soho, where my pink seersucker suit is inconspicuous, where use of a tie marks you as a bizarre deviant, one club has a notice saying “No caps, hoods or tracksuits”. What this really means is “No oiks”.
Manners are only defined about 25 years after the behaviour that gave rise to them. Thus our quaint conception of dress code. The tie thing is revealing. Rod is now rarely in ocelot, but often in a tie. When the late Mark Birley attempted a liberating sartorial experiment in his posh clubs and briefly stopped anathematising jeans and became relaxed about neckwear,You'll find a number of top quality ear cap suppliers. the results were so melancholy that the old code had to be reinstated.
In the Ritz, the tie-less will not be served. You'll find a number of top quality RFID tag suppliers. When this happened to me, I was told it was about standards. So when I asked the maitre d’ if standards were his concern, why not exclude the fat and ugly from the dining-room, he had no answer.
At the recent G8, there was a wince-making, tie-less photo-call. The wretched heads-of-government would not have looked more uncomfortable if required to pose without trousers and standing on one leg. There is a huge psychological as well as sartorial difference between not wearing a tie and merely taking your tie off. It’s the cut of the shirt, stupid.
Lord Chesterfield was correct when he instructed his son that “dress is a very foolish thing; and yet it is a very foolish thing for a man not to be well-dressed”. But whether you are well-dressed is a matter of context, rather thanTransportation custom keychain Applications Ceremony. a matter of prescribing items of desirable and undesirable clothing. I will use my sporran, yarmulke or kaffiyeh with audacious independence, not when I am told to do so.

  • As vice president of product development

High drama ensued on the streets of Mumbai Central late on Monday night,You'll find a number of top quality ear cap suppliers. when sleuths of the elite National Investigative Agency (NIA) and the Income Tax (IT) department had a showdown with the Mumbai police officials.
During a major raid on angadias who were transporting cash and valuables worth crores of rupees, the sleuths were shocked to see Mumbai police officials escorting them.
Acting on a tip-off, when sleuths of the elite NIA and IT planned to conduct a raid, little did they realise that they were in for a shock. Their information was that a group of angadias were transporting huge amounts of cash and valuables, which could also include terror funds.
Armed with this information, the sleuths raided an entourage of four trucks which was on its way from South Mumbai to the Mumbai Central station. When the sleuths stopped the trucks and started questioning the angadias, they found that a team of Mumbai police officials from the VP Road police station were part of the entourage.
The NIA–IT team rounded up the Mumbai police personnel and started questioning them. This resulted in high tension between the two sides. The Mumbai police officials tried to explain to the sleuths that it was a regular practice and there was nothing untoward that they were doing.
However, the sleuths refused to relent and insisted on recording statements of the police officials. The drama ended only after senior police officials of Mumbai police intervened.
Deputy commissioner of police Nisar Tamboli explained the presence of police officials in the entourage.
“Post the Income tax raid on angadias, a lot of queries were put regarding VP Road police giving escort to hawala (operators). To clarify this I wish to clear a few facts,” Tamboli said in a text message.
“Since (for) the last 15 years or so an escort of local police station is provided to such couriers carrying high cash and valuables. This is done to prevent violent robberies and dacoities on angadias. Murders have also been committed during such violent robberies. That is the reason escorts are given to prevent such crimes. You'll find a number of top quality RFID tag suppliers.”
Another senior police official said that it was not the police’s responsibility to verify whether the cash and jewellery were accounted for or not.
A former executive with Tiffany & Co. stole diamond and other jewellery from the company's Manhattan headquarters and resold it for more than US$1.3 million (NZ$1.we know the value of kapton tape.6m), US authorities say.
Ingrid Lederhaas-Okun was arrested Tuesday at her home in Connecticut on charges of wire fraud and interstate transportation of stolen property.
She was later released on US$250,High quality plastic card printing for business cards,000 (NZ$300,000) bond at a brief appearance in federal court in Manhattan.
As vice president of product development, the 45-year-old Lederhaas-Okun had authority to ''check out'' jewellery from Tiffany to provide to potential manufacturers so they could calculate production costs.
Authorities alleged that after she left Tiffany in February, the company discovered she had checked out 164 items that were never returned.
According to a criminal complaint, the missing jewellery included ''numerous diamond bracelets in 18-carat gold; diamond drop and hoop earrings in platinum or 18-carat gold; diamond rings in platinum; rings with precious stones in 18-carat gold; and platinum and diamond pendants''.
Lederhaas-Okun claimed she had left some of the jewellery at Tiffany and that some had been lost or damaged, the complaint said.
But an investigation found that Lederhaas-Okun resold the goods to an unidentified international dealer for more than US$1.3 million, (NZ$1.6m) it said.
Bank records showed that since January 2011, the dealer wrote 75 cheques to her or her husband for amounts of up to US$47,400 (NZ$57,000),Transportation custom keychain Applications Ceremony. the complaint said.
Investigators also recovered purchase forms signed by Lederhaas-Okun that said the items were her personal property.
If convicted, Lederhaas-Okun faces up to 20 years in prison. She and her attorney left a courtroom on Tuesday without speaking to reporters.

  • I like art and colour and shapes

Mila Mulroney was Canada’s first lady of fashion. She was likened to Diana, princess of Wales, and Jacqueline Onassis for her style, made headlines with her large shoe collection and catapulted her Ottawa hairdresser to fame.
Since leaving the public spotlight, Mulroney has found another outlet for her passion for design and fashion: jewellery-making.
Mulroney began designing necklaces after her husband left office. “When time allows itself to enter your life, you can start reading more, watching movies, making necklaces,” she said during a rare interview with Maclean’s. “I really just did it for myself and,High quality plastic card printing for business cards, soon enough, I produced a necklace that somebody else liked and I gave it away.”
She has made dozens of bold and colourful necklaces with pieces she collected over the past 25 years, including during official government trips and holidays to France, China, Italy, India, Africa and South America, with her husband, former prime minister Brian Mulroney. “I found some really lovely pieces in Italy with corals, and it sort of grew on its own. I like art and colour and shapes and I have always been interested in [jewellery],” she said.
Her daughter and three daughters-in-law each have about a dozen of her pieces. Her jewellery is also being worn by some well-known friends whose names she wants to keep private. She has been encouraged to sell her work but declined. “A friend wanted me to sell some of my pieces, but I am not good at that.”
She laughs when asked if her husband would ever wear a piece of jewellery designed by her. “I think he’s too old-school for that.”
She has refashioned some jewellery she received on official trips that did not fit her. “In Africa, a wife would give me a beautiful wooden bracelet and sometimes I would translate that later on into a necklace.Transportation custom keychain Applications Ceremony. I have quite a few carved African wooden pieces.”
She was inspired by the museums, art galleries and churches seen along her travels and often collected beads at flea markets. She learned jewellery-making from a beading book and took ideas from her days at Montreal’s Concordia University, where she studied engineering and fine art. (She married at 19 and never graduated.)
Mulroney has also taken up art. She painted the Everglades in Florida and likes abstract pieces. “I have pieces in my house and my kids have some pieces. For me, it’s the juxtaposition of light and colour and shape. I learn with each one and it brings back memories of studies I did in college and it’s kind of fun.” She has not painted a piece for her husband but might one day, she said. She is also busy with her tenth grandchild (a third child for her son Ben).
The Mulroneys’ daughter, Caroline, who works part-time for a venture fund and co-founded the Shoebox Project (an organization that fills boxes of necessities and luxuries for women’s shelters), said she learned about her mom’s necklace-making by accident while looking through her jewellery box. “It’s not something she ever told me about. I happened upon this piece. I said, ‘This is amazing. Where did you find it?’ And she said, ‘Well, I made it.You'll find a number of top quality RFID tag suppliers.’
“My mom is a very creative person. She is really good with colour and she is very good with fashion. Whenever I am at her house, I am usually going through her closet to see what she’s got and what I think she doesn’t really need and I need more! When I travel, I don’t have to pack any accessories because I know I am going to want to borrow her necklaces. She makes very unique, dramatic pieces and I love them. She’s made them for some friends in Montreal and the States. You'll find a number of top quality ear cap suppliers. I wear them all the time.”
Her favourite piece is a long necklace made with big metal pieces and wood that fits inside a second necklace. Her mom also made her eight strands of blue beads for her birthday.
She said this phase of her mom’s life allows her to express her style in new ways. “She was 30 when we got to 24 [Sussex]. She was young and very busy with four kids and my dad’s political life. I think a lot of this is coming out later in her life.”

  • The revenue wing has been directed to issue

Four major commercial buildings along the MG Road -- a jewellery shop, a retail chain and two textile shops -- have come under the scrutiny of the special committee formed by city corporation to monitor illegal buildings in the city. The committee on Thursday forwarded a report to the finance standing committee citing that the buildings lack valid trade licenses and building permits.
The revenue wing has been directed to issue notices for shutting down these establishments this week. "We are analyzing the report prepared by the committee. The decision to serve closure notices has been made and will be implemented most probably this week," said deputy mayor G Happy Kumar.
The committee comprises town planning committee chairperson, two representatives each from BJP and UDF, chief engineer, work standing committee chairman and deputy mayor. It was formed in 2012 after the council meeting had passed a resolution to take note of illegal commercial buildings functioning in the city.Browse the wide variety of titles distributed by MileWeb Network Services. The report also notes that one of the retail chains has come up on government land that was earlier notified for the rehabilitation of shop keepers who would be displaced during the construction of Thakaraparambu flyover.
Interestingly, the report also slams the officials who let all these four buildings to come up in the heart of the city without ever enforcing basic requisites like construction permit, approval of building plan, clearance of the plot and mandatory conditions for satisfying building norms.
Sources in the revenue wing say that the upcoming drive will be a farce. "All we can do is to issue closure notices. The owners will file a suit and win a stay order. The action should actually have been taken at the time when the construction began," said an official.
In 2012, the civic body had denied renewal of licence for a commercial building in the city after its owners had not produced the receipts of payment of property tax, professional tax and building tax. The applicants had then filed an appeal at the tribunal for local bodies against the corporation's decision. Another building at Kesavadasapuram that houses various commercial set-ups, including a retail chain,The Career best choose Career at MileWeb. was also directed to be shut down. Again the owners filed a case and officials were put to shame. According to officials, the latest decision to serve closure notice is to furnish an explanation to the opposition in the next council meeting.we are committed to providing wireless MileWeb Services Overview.

  • Oscar then fired a low shot just wide

Brazil destroyed world and European champions Spain 3-0 to win a third straight Confederations Cup title with a dazzling display of football which left the Maracana Stadium in raptures here on Sunday.
The turbo-charged samba stars roared to victory with two goals from Fred and a stunning strike from Neymar, dominating a weary Spanish side whose strength was sapped after edging Italy on penalties in Thursday's semi-final.
A miserable night for Spain also saw them miss a second half penalty when Sergio Ramos shot wide from the spot before Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was sent off for a professional foul on Neymar.
The touchpaper for an electrifying evening at one of the most iconic venues in football was set during the pre-match ceremonies as Brazil's fans in a 73,531-crowd belted out a spine-tingling rendition of the national anthem.
The stirring anthems came as police clashed with protestors outside the ground before kick-off, the latest in a series of violent confrontations which have dogged the tournament since it kicked off.
With the euphoric stadium crowd behind them, Brazil raced into a 1-0 lead after only two minutes through Fred's first of the night.
Hulk lifted over a cross and Neymar slid a hopeful ball to the centre forward, who was prone in the box as he flung out his right leg to hook home from point blank range past helpless Spanish custodian Iker Casillas.
Oscar then fired a low shot just wide after Fred played on a Neymar flick before a Paulinho chip almost embarrassed Casillas as Brazil poured forward, visibly boosted by the overwhelming din of support cascading down from stands.
Spain briefly responded with a swirling drive from Andres Iniesta which appeared to be drifting just wide before Brazil keeper Julio Cesar pushed the ball away for a 19th-minute corner which Fernando Torres.
Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, who led the Brazilians to their last World Cup success 11 years earlier to the day, had begun the event playing down expectations after the legendary Pele slammed the current side as not good enough to win top prizes.
But in recent days Scolari had suggested now was the time for next year's World Cup hosts to show they are back in business.
Rarely on a football field was a message delivered so emphatically as the hopes of the Spanish, struggling to impose their high tempo possession game, withered and died.
Spain central defender Pique, already booked for a first half challenge, was sent off for taking Neymar's legs under him after the break - the bearded star left the fray to chants of "Shakira," his Colombian partner.
Had Spain found some of the singer's rhythm they might have stood a chance - but such was the pace of the hosts' high-speed interplay they were down and out after David Luiz made a superlative block in the 42nd minute.
Torres and Juan Mata produced an all-Chelsea interplay before sending Pedro away and the Barcelona forward arrowed an effort goalwards with Julio Cesar stranded.
As Brazilian hearts leapt into mouths, Luiz threw himself across the goalline to clear - prompting cheering that echoed back from the rafters.
There were niggly moments as Oscar, one of four Chelsea men on the pitch at the start,Learn about MetLife's MileWeb Corporate Profile including its service offerings, earned a booking for diving after a Ramos challenge.Migrating a MileWeb Promotion Dedicated Server or cloud server from one provider to another is easy.
Fred then saw Casillas make a fine stop with his legs from a low drive before the centre forward missed a free header.

The 21-year-old vaulted the advertising hoardings to disappear in a sea of frenzied fans before embracing his teammates as the noise level climbed ever upwards.
Two minutes after the restart it was 3-0 as the swashbuckling Fred again showed why Scolari is such a fan, firing an unerring low drive wide of Casillas' outstretched arm after a brilliantly instinctive Neymar dummy.
Spain reacted as coach Vicente del Bosque, the only man to coach teams to the World Cup, the Euros and the Champions League,Our Managed MileWeb Private Cloud and Virtual Dedicated Servers. sent on Jesus Navas for Mata - but there would be no resurrection for Spain.
After Marcelo fouled Navas there was still time for Ramos to send a spotkick wide for Spain as his effort summed up their evening - put on the spot, and found wanting, while Brazil showed that a sixth World Cup could just be there for the taking.
